Website builds · For the trades

I build websites
that book jobs.

No website? A dead one from 2013? Badlands builds you a real one — done-for-you, start to finish, by one person you can actually get on the phone. Built to do the one thing that matters: turn “just looking” into a booked job on your calendar.

You own 100% of it — domain, site, and content, in your name.

Sound familiar?

You’re great at the work. Your website shouldn’t be why the phone’s quiet.

📵

“My Facebook page is my website.”

Facebook works — until a homeowner about to spend $15k Googles you first and finds nothing that looks like a real business. Word-of-mouth built your name; a website makes strangers trust it.

🕸️

“I’ve got a site… from 2013.”

If it’s hard to read on a phone, you’re losing jobs — that’s where nearly everyone finds a contractor now. A dated site quietly tells people your work might be dated too. You know it isn’t. They don’t.

🔍

“I’m invisible on Google.”

Someone searches your trade plus your town, and your competitors show up — or nobody local does. That search happens every day. The contractors who show up get the call.

📅

“Getting a quote request is a chore.”

Homeowners want your services, your service area, and a way to reach you at 9pm when they’re fed up with the leak. If asking takes effort, a chunk of them just… don’t.

None of this means you’re bad at business. It means you’ve been busy running the business. That’s the part I fix: you run crews, I handle the internet.

The done-for-you website

Everything a contractor site needs. Nothing it doesn’t.

One build, one person, start to finish. No account managers, no offshore dev team, no “submit a ticket.”

📱

Mobile-first design

Built for the phone first, because that’s where your customers are. Fast, and easy to read one-handed on a job site.

🔧

Service & service-area pages

Every trade you offer and every town you cover, laid out so homeowners say yes before they’ve even called.

✉️

Quote form to your phone

Every request lands in your text/email and is saved on the site — so a lead never slips through, even during a slammed week.

Why Badlands

I build booking machines, not brochures.

Most agencies hand you a pretty brochure that just sits there. I build sites around the only thing that matters to a contractor: jobs on the calendar — because I know what it costs a small operation when there are holes in the schedule.

I run digital marketing for a living — SEO, ads, content, the works — on budgets where every dollar has to earn its keep. That’s the exact skill set your business needs, and almost no web shop has it.

One person, on the phone, every time. You work with me — not a project manager or a ticket queue. When you call, the person who built your site answers.

Fair questions

What contractors usually ask me.

What does a website cost?

Every build is quoted after a quick free call — most straightforward contractor sites are a one-time build, and you’ll have the exact number in writing before I start. No retainers-for-nothing, no surprise invoices.

How long does it take?

Typically 2–4 weeks from our first call to launch, depending mostly on how fast you get me photos and answers. The slow season is the perfect time — you’re ranking by the time the busy months hit.

I get most work from referrals. Do I really need this?

Maybe not yet — and I’ll tell you on the call if so. But referrals still Google you before they call. If nothing solid comes up, some quietly evaporate. A website doesn’t replace your reputation; it catches the jobs your reputation already earned.

Am I stuck paying you forever?

Nope. You own the site, the domain, and everything on it. Plenty of contractors take the keys and run. The care plan and marketing packages are optional — for when you’d rather be running crews than fiddling with Google.

Have you actually built real sites?

Yes — real, live businesses, built start to finish by me. I run digital marketing for a living and build sites that book work, not brochures that just sit there.

Your reputation fills the schedule. Let’s make the internet pull its weight too.

Tell me about your business — your trades, your service area, what’s working and what isn’t. The call is free and the advice is honest, even if it’s “you don’t need me yet.”
